Alexandria, VA (September 6, 2011) – The second annual GOVgreen Conference and Exposition announced today that the exhibit floor is expected to more than double this year, reaching 180 exhibits.
“We’re pleased with our progress, especially given the challenging economy,” says Ann Seltz, President of the Center for Environmental Innovation and Leadership (CEIL), sponsor of GOVgreen. “Booth sales have increased dramatically in the past month and some of larger companies selling green solutions to the federal government and military have signed up,” she says.

GOVgreen 2011 is based in DC—easily accessible to federal and military decision makers—and provides education and exhibits free to federal employees. The exhibit hall is free to all. The GOVgreen exhibit hall is action filled with two plenary sessions held on the show floor, as well as Lunch-and-Learn sessions for attendees, the CEIL awards program, a new product pavilion, technical sessions presented by experts from exhibiting companies and networking receptions.
The conference program includes 25 sessions in four tracks with the majority of presenters drawn from the federal government and military.
