Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) council members including U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa P. As part of President Obama's America's Great Outdoors initiative, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar recently accepted the first donation of land in south-central Florida to officially establish the Everglades Headwaters National Wildlife Refuge and Conservation Area.

A new state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility was unveiled in Delmar recently at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. It took more than a year to transform the outdated facility to an innovative, effective wastewater treatment plant that protects the health and safety of families and provides significant clean water benefits for the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

The new Streamflow Duration Assessment Method for Oregon will help natural resource professionals, consultants and regulators identify whether a fill or removal project with potential stream impacts must obtain permits.
